I am happy to hear that overall you enjoyed your stay at the hotel and that you found the personnel great. I am sorry that you found the tub slippery. The tubs were just resurfaced recently to prevent any slipping issues. I will have engineering go look at the tub to see if we can determine what the issue may be. If you do chose to stay with us again please let us know what your needs are. We have many different types of bathroom configurations since we do not cater to just the Mayo patients. Half of the rooms in the hotel have walk in showers that all have grab bars. That sounds like it would meet your needs. If you do need a tub we have rooms with grab bars also.

I am very sorry that we gave you the impression that we do not value mid to top tier elite members. We value all Elite members who stay at the hotel. The challenge we face with complimentary upgrades is that out of our 146 guest rooms we only have 6 suites with king beds and 6 suites with two double beds. Most of our suites are typically occupied each night by guests who book them through the reservation system and pay the rates we offer for the suites. The ones that are not booked by the guests we use to upgrade our Elite members. Each night we typically have 30 to 50 mid to top tier Elite members who stay at the hotel. So it becomes a challenge on who to upgrade. There are times when we upgrade our long term Elite members if they are at the hotel undergoing major medical treatments and they let us know that the suite would make their stay more comfortable. But even these requests are based on us having the rooms available.
I am very sorry that we were not able to upgrade you during your two stays with us. But unfortunately the hotel does not have enough suites to upgrade all of the Elite members that stay with us nightly. But that does not means that we do not appreciate our Elite members. We are able to deliver on all of the benefits that Elite members receive.

I am very sorry for the experience that you had at the hotel. I can assure you that this is not the normal experience for our hotel. I have shared you comments with both the engineering and housekeeping staff to prevent this issue from happening again. I appreciate you taking the time to let us know about our concerns. We pride ourselves on having a great hotel and delivering outstanding service, but we failed with you. I hope that if you are coming back to the area that you give us a chance to show you the great service we can provide.
