Thank you for your feedback. I apologize that Breakfast was hectic and the pans of food ran out before we could refill them. I assisted in the breakfast room that weekend and we try our best to keep on top of things. We normally have 2 staff members assigned there during the weekends and then either management or someone from the Front Desk goes and assists during the busiest time. Our kitchen is on the small side and we do not have a lot of space to prep things. The eggs take some time to cook and I can honestly say that as soon as a pan leaves the kitchen, a new one is started. It is just with that many people wanting breakfast at the same time, a pan of eggs that takes 6 minutes to make, could be gone in less than 3 minutes. Again I apologize for the items not being kept full at all times.
As for the trashcans around the outside of the building, I'm not sure why they would not have been changed. We have someone on our Housekeeping team that empties them or at least checks them twice a day. I will look into this to make sure it was an isolated incident.
