Manufacturers were not able to keep up with supplier demands and all of our room furniture was custom built. We would have been much happier to have this project completed in the 6 week time frame that we allowed, however, it was just not meant to be. We do apologize for the inconvenience but want you to know that we are still the lowest priced, best value full service hotel in the Poconos. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Trip Advisor. Our carpeting finally arrived and we are about 45% complete with laying it. All of our entry ways and stairs have been finished, so now its just waiting for the new lamps and draperies. We do appreciate everyone's patience with us during this project, but with labor delays and back orders from suppliers, it did take considerably longer than expected.

Than you for sharing on Trip Advisor. Yes, we are under renovation. Yes, we do shut down floor by floor and work only on those floors. You were in room 327. I reviewed your check-out conversation on our audio/video tapes. There was no furniture piled outside your room. You had an outside entrance room that opened onto a cover walkway that was free of any furniture, or anything else. The furniture was stored in the parking spaces until we could install it (new) and dispose of it (old). We wish we had more room to store these items, but with 111 rooms of new furniture moving into rooms and 111 rooms of old furniture moving out of the same rooms, space becomes a premium. We do apologize if this was an inconvenience for you. I'm not certain about the advertised free weekend breakfast, as I have been here over 20 years, and we have never offered complimentary breakfast on weekends. Monday through Friday, we do. If you look at our web page, you will see it clearly noted. I do want to thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention at check-out. We always appreciate feedback, positive or otherwise, from our guests. Its how we improve our product and service. We thank you for helping us.
Thank you for writing on trip advisor. We appreciate you being our guest and your understanding during our renovation process. Our rooms are 99% complete, just waiting on new carpeting for the rooms and halls as well as new window treatments as well. The paint/glue smell has been abated and once the carpet is installed, the base molding will be done as well.
