If it is a busy weekend with many kids , our atrium area can be loud if you have a room right in that area. We always make sure we tell anyone with these rooms during a busy time that this area gets loud. Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay at the Midtown HOldiay Inn. We are happy you enjoyed our warm pool and recreational facilities in our atrium. It is a favorite area for families. I sincerely apologize for the slow service and lack of friendliness of the servers in the dining room for breakfast. Having an unexpected shortage of help is no excuse for not being friendly. All service facilities face this problem from time to time and we do train our help on the proper way to handle a situation like this. We will talk with the servers and reinforce our training steps so they are able to handle the situation in a friendly manner should it occur again. Sincerely, RHonda
Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our facility. The input from our guest is very important to the owners and staff. When ever possible we place our business travelers in a different area than our leisure or group guests to accommodate the need for quiet, I'm sorry that was not your experience. I hope you reported the noisy hvac unit to our guest service staff during your stay. We want a quality product that make our guests comfortable, the unit will get replaced immediately if it is not functioning properly. We find many business travelers that appreciate our full service features of Images Bar and Grill for evening dining and the Terrace Restaurant for a hot and scrumptious, reasonably priced breakfast. I hope you will reconsider us as your choice the next time you travel to Grand Island. We would look forward earning your loyalty when traveling for business and leisure.

Informing our guests when there is an interruption of normal business is so important to your satisfaction. I sincerely apologize for you feeling that not having hot water was normal when we are busy. That is certainly not true and the rest of the story is that our main water unit had a gauge go down and cause the hotel to run short of hot water. We were able to fix the problem within the day of it happening.
We greatly appreciate you taking the time to write your review. It is an opportunity for us to learn what we can do to improve satisfaction and service. Although we couldn't have prevented what happened the day you stayed we certainly could have given you better information. It is good to know that when we are accommodating a large amount of working business men that we need to double our hall cleaning routine to handle the high traffic.
