Many of our guests visit our Lodge because it is in the country and has an authentic African feel and ambience. Being in the country though and situated on a game reserve one will come across many and varied species of country creatures. We regret that you did not enjoy the country experience.
With regards to the stained bed linen, this was changed but we apologise that this happened and for the inconvenience. I can assure you that the necessary disciplinary action has been taken.

I would like to express my sincere regret that we did not meet your expectations during your stay, as one month prior to you coming to Kedar my front office department was in constant contact with you regarding your reservation and Spa booking. With your reservation you also informed us that you would be celebrating your 15th Anniversary. As policy we require prepayments on all bookings, you insisted on not paying for the spa booking as you commented that you might not enjoy it and would we as Kedar do a refund if you did not enjoy the treatment. On arrival only one treatment was done and you cancelled the rest of the treatments for the day and on Saturday which is our busiest day. Our philosophy at our spa follows a natural approach to body and skin care which infuses ancient beauty and health therapies from across the world with African herbs, flowers and spices. Our therapists cultivate these timeless treatments and remedies and do not follow the clinical and medicinal approach of other countries and spas – a unique tribute to Africa’s indigenous herbs and oils.
Upon arrival we upgraded you to a Super Deluxe room as it was your anniversary and in your room placed a complimentary bottle of red wine. We at Kedar pride ourselves in the Traditional African Rural experience we offer our guest and the wide range of Kruger Memorabilia and History and therefore some of our rooms represent this historic interest.
On the first night of your arrival you went into the restaurant requesting what was on our buffet and you also informed us you were vegetarian. Our Duty manager took you through the extensive buffet as well as vegetarian options that were on the buffet that night, you were quite pleased with the extensive vegetarian options offered and made no comment further. You also informed us that you would be spending most of the next day at Sun city.
In hospitality we meet constantly a cosmopolitan group of clientele, some may not appreciate Kedar’s Traditional African Rural experience steeped with memorabilia and History and we do apologize that we did not meet your expectations.
