香巴拉酒店是最棒的酒店之一,我跟朋友一起為了泳池去過那酒店。我不了解那間酒店,不過我朋友邀請我去,我們就一起去了,那是個很出色的屋頂泳池,能欣賞到超棒的美景。夥計們,如果有機會來玩,請去那裡的泳池玩下!謝謝!

我此行中的亮點:這家酒店的按摩師技術非常好,他們的工作十分出色。酒店的服務生特別是叫Abhash的那一位總是不遺餘力地給我們最好的建議,比如去哪裡玩、如何才能讓你在這個國家擁有最好的旅行經歷。他是我可以當做朋友的那種人,而且我很期待下次來加德滿都還能見到他。酒店的經理也始終竭盡所能地保證我和其他的客人在逗留期間都有盡可能好的體驗。

入住過一家民宿和在博卡拉徒步旅行之後,想要舒服得度過最後一個晚上。這家酒店是最棒的選擇。房間很大、很乾凈、很安靜,還有空調。這裏對於周邊經常受到蚊蟲困擾的酒店來說,是一個很大的昇級。員工對所有事情都很有幫助,甚至免費送我們到機場。最棒的部分是無邊泳池。你會從遊泳池中看到加德滿都的最佳景色,然後在屋頂酒吧里閑逛。這是遠離城市喧囂的最棒的方式。我一定會再次回來。而且距離一些主要的景點——thamel和boudha只需要花費300盧比(出租車會試圖收取你更多的錢,但是講價到300盧比,他們也會拉上你的)。100%推薦。

很棒的一次停留。我們去吃飯的時候受到了熱情的歡迎。特別是當你離家后,有些人仍然用微笑和無私精神來對待你的感覺真是再好不過了。不管我們什麼時候去餐廳,Laxmi女士一直都在那兒用她迷人的微笑招待我們,我們很感謝香巴拉酒店這些員工完美的工作。值得一提的是,當我們向餐廳要幾種印度食品后,她微笑着為我們提供了一種很不錯的印度食物,這值得稱讚。為她的優質服務致以最美好的。Jayaraj

如果要評估香巴拉酒店,我給這裏打1/5分 - 一點兒性價比也沒有。酒店位於繁忙喧囂的街道,有來自交通和道路施工的噪音。食物都是甜的,只有披薩、扁豆或者raita之類的菜肴...糟糕的經歷...GoIbibo網站上說這是可以退款的,但其實並沒有。

We can see that you have just created your TripAdvisor account only to comment and review us on TripAdvisor and personally I am little surprised how little it takes to receive a 1-star review in 2018.

Please allow me to elaborate your "no value for money" comment. You checked in was done smoothly by our team members and you were assisted to one of the deluxe room that you booked for. But soon after, you informed our team that you did not like the size of the room and want to see the suite room instead. That request was completely normal and hence, we showed you one of our available suite room and also offered very nominal rate if you want to upgrade. That rate was not acceptable to you and you wanted to reduce down the price to penny which obviously the deal couldn't be done. You then wanted to cancel your reservation and get the refund which was not possible as the nature of your booking was non-refundable and with the strict cancellation policy. We obviously wanted you to be satisfied with your stay and offer an alternative and then showed you another corner room with much larger space of 240 sq ft., excluding the bathroom space area. (our deluxe rooms has little variance in size considering the structure of the building) You were apparently satisfied with the new room and we figured the issue has been resolved as we did not receive any queries or complain about room issue from your side.

I am not sure how the "no value of money" applies in this situation considering you were provided a deluxe room of 240 sq. ft. a nice and spotless bathroom with tub and hot and cold shower, with all the bathroom and room amenities, all the aspect of rooms and swimming pool access and more importantly full American and continental buffet breakfast every morning. I am pretty sure the readers of this review can verify your "no value for money" statement and my response to make their wise decision while choosing Hotel Shambala for their future stay. You were very clear with the cancellation policy and you knew the product you choose while making the booking. We never falsify our products and information and will provide what we promised online. If not upgrading to the suite on a penny rate is the definition of no value for money to you then I now believe we really do have to evaluate the way of responding similar queries from now on.

We did a thorough investigation on the noise issue from the busy street and construction noise coming from across the street. But there was not a single case that you complained about the noise issue to our team members. Personal enquires to all the team members has been done and log and records were checked but nothing was found. Had you demand to speak to the duty manager, this issue could have been rectified instantly. There was no any complain we received from the room above and under your floors. You only mentioned this issue on checkout but then there was a least we could have done. We absolutely understand peace and quiet ambiance is important for relaxation but reporting the issues is even more important in order to fix the problem in the earliest opportunity. We are sorry that this did not happen and there was nothing we could have done on your departure other than to offer our apology.

We also went through each and every food items you ordered from the room service and restaurant and found a very strange similarity. The Pizza, the Dal Makhni (lentil) and the Aloo Dum all are in a tomato based or at least tomato puree is used in the recipe. We are considering your "sugar taste" as sweet and there could be the case where you are sensitive towards tomato-based food which apparently tasted little sweet. The important point here to discuss that none of the foods delivered to you were unconsumed and no any constructive feedback was provided. The culinary team and service team will be alerted and concerned if the food is not being consumed or partially consumed by our guests and will initiate the investigation. But this was not the issue, on your case.

You wanted to get the refund for the non-refundable booking was the primary issue that has been on the highlight. If the sole purpose of rating us 1-star review on TripAdvisor is about the booking with strict cancellation policy blanketed with other issues that we believe we just have to embrace and respect your right and liberty to review the property you stayed on Social media.

Kindly note that TripAdvisor or any social media is not going to solve the problem you faced and had you demanded to summon any of the available managers than a lot of alternatives could have been offered. You're constantly comparing our hotel with other international chain hotel and comparing the price and facilities was not going to give you the satisfaction in any way considering we are a personalized boutique hotel with limited room inventory and space. Please be informed that we do put our guest's need and request on top priority and our team members are always ready to place an extra effort on every occasion for guest's satisfaction.

I am sorry that we did not feel the nature of your comments warrants any financial compensation and I am disappointed that the response to your apparent issues is in the form of 1-star rating as retaliation.
