We are happy to read that you had enjoyed your previous stays in our hotel. This time, it seems, we were however unable to fulfill your expectations, and we are terribly sorry for that.
You wrote that you had a room on the street side despite your wish for a quiet room. We always do our best to fulfill every wish of our guests, but unfortunately we can not guarantee them. For example in this case, as we are constantly fully booked and have only a very small number of single rooms facing the inner yard, we were unable to locate you in one of those, as they were already occupied by guests who have checked in earlier days. All of the rooms - whether on the street side or on the inner yard side - have new double windows that guarantee good sound insulation. During summer time, especially this year as it has been exceptionally warm for a unusually long period of time, it might naturally be a problem to keep the windows open. Thank you for your feedback regarding this anyway, we'll consider this issue when planning our future renovations.
One of the restaurants we used to have co-operation for breakfast doesn't serve it any more, you're right. We do however have two new restaurants where our guests can enjoy breakfast for discounted rates. For example we have a buffet breakfast deal with a café on exactly the opposite side of our street - so even closer than before. We are sorry if you were unaware of this.
About the price level. We know that Helsinki is, especially during the current summer high season, more expensive than many other cities. In the Helsinki standards we have always been and we'll definitely be amongst the cheapest hotels in the city center even during the more expensive seasons.
As I wrote, we are terribly sorry for the disappointment you had this time after previous positive experiences. We would love to have you as our guest also in the future. Thus, feel free to contact us directly so that we could discuss directly and possibly find a way to satisfy your disappointment.

We would like to apologize the inconvenience caused by the lift renovation. There was information about the renovation on our website and on our sites on different booking services, i.e. Booking.com, and we are terribly sorry if you didn't notice this information when booking your room. We did our every effort to make sure that the renovation causes as little harm as possible, and we hope, that it didn't cause too big troubles! However, the renovation is now over and the lift is in use again.

We'd like to apologize if you found your bathroom too small. It is an old building, so every bathroom is a bit different in size. For that reason we've divided our twin rooms into two categories - larger ones with larger bathrooms, and slightly smaller ones with respectively smaller bathrooms. This way we are trying to let our guests choice between a bit of extra space or a bit of extra value :)
