Knowing that your trip is planned for the upcoming weekend, we reached out to your booking agent, as is required by policy, to inform them of the situation and it was felt important and urgent to let those affected as soon as we were able, rather than create more problems by leaving informing you to the last minute.
Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstance such as this occur from time to time, however we do everything in our power to retain our guests and ensure they remain as close to completely satisfied as is practicably possible, We are sorry you feel that the agent your used did not let you know why or how this situation has come about, however I have a copy of the email containing the information which should have been sent to you.

Blissful escape from London busy-ness
I live in London! However, I felt I needed to disconnect from my life
and have a little local adventure. The hotel is close to where I live, but I had only previously sampled the cocktail bar (excellent btw). This time, I decided to get a room, use the pool, experience room service, relax, unwind. The hotel was perfect for all of these things. The pool was warm and inviting, and there is nothing like having it to yourself! I missed a sauna, but only a little bit, this would have been the cherry on top. There was a well equipped gym, I was too lazy to have a go - maybe next time. The room was clean, and the soaps and moisturisers wonderfully aromatic. There was ample space to have a meal, relax on the sofa, and nap on the bed. It was perfection.It was quiet and ticked a lot of boxes for me in terms of style without overcomplication. I will definitely be coming back!
