The green King Prawns are supplied to us fresh from the market - size upon availability - at a cost of $37 per kilo on this occasion. Each prawn costs approx $4.00 and they are then shelled by Chefs and prepared for cooking, then deep fried, then plated to be delivered by waitstaff to your table with the accompanied house made pickled vegetables and candied lemon aioli. The entrees are not advertised as shared plates. When delivering meals we always err on the side of generosity. I am sorry that you found your dish less than pleasing size-size. I also noted that you were unhappy with your accommodation in Pokolbin prior to your restaurant reservation. We all in the Hunter Valley try our best to accommodate guests.
