This is a very significant Revolutionary War site.
The setting up of crucial artillery redoubts at Dorchester Heights led to the British military evacuation of Boston in 1776.
The view from the Heights is beautiful on a pretty day. You can see how this site gave the rebels the ability to threaten the British fleet in Boston.
Y’all... I literally can’t even begin to describe how stellar the food is here. And the bloody Mary’s.... holy moly. The oysters were fresh and delish... the lincoln sliders were cooked to perfection... the BREAKFAST PIZZA.... gurrrrrl!!! One bite and I swear I had an out of body experience... please do yourself a favor and eat here!
Took my wife here for her birthday. What a line outside for the live music downstairs!! Anyhow, I have to say, the ambiance, decor, etc - very nice!! the staff was incredibly polite, and even let me sample my whiskey before I ordered a glass, neat. Thought that was nice! I requested a nice riesling be brought to our table...
This is a guys’ place. Big screens with sport, noisy at,osphere and big plates of food. The service was very good, but the place lacks any form of style. There are only high tops to sit at. Try it and you’ll enjoy it if you’re hungry and like the company of men.
