Kollwitzplatz is an absolutely fantastic square and area that on any holiday I take to this most eclectic of city's I always look forward to visiting.
A lively square, home to a bustling market ,the square and area is teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants, theres also a pretty park here, very popular with the locals ,we are currently in Berlin ,taking...
Visited the show about the stars above the Berlin sky. If you love space you will love this. Friendly staff. There was a narrator who spoke in German so I understood about 50% of it bit it was still amazing.
A complete different idea of what a museum for kids should be: basically, this is a place to BE A REAL KID, running, playing, exploring, learning. And ancient church now transformed in a paradise for kids. Do not miss it if you´re visiting the city with kids.
「Best thai cuisine in town in my humble opinion...」
I know this place from the beginning, 20 years in a very inconsistent area with the same owner speaks for itself - and the quality never failed. It is a cosy place with lots of terrific food and many (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) options on the menu.
Just keep in mind: you have to make a reservation, it can be crowdet.
Great place, but rooms difficult to air due to all windows facing same direction, especially the rooms with bed on a higher level have the problem that the air in the bed area is quite hot in summer. Apart from that it‘s well done with friendly staff and good breakfast buffet.
