There is currently a deal floating around Facebook saying this place has 3 nights + waterpark admission for $150. For new guests only. but!!!! I thought this place burned down. Are they back open already? Waterpark and all?

There are still 70 some units available that are currently open. we just came back from there about a week and a half ago. they move the restaurant into the same building as the water park and the water park is fully functioning also. they are planning to have everything that was destroyed rebuilt along with all of the new projects that they were building to be done in about 19 months. the owner is not waiting for the insurance reimbursement to complete repairs and reconstruction he's just putting his own money into it and when the insurance reimburses then he'll recover what he is spent. I believe with seven construction companies rebuilding their Resort it will probably be open fully functioning in that 19 month. But they do have units open and available.
Is the water park extra if you are a westgate timeshare owner?

I was given a voucher in the amount of $100 dollars to be used at the spa when we purchased our time share. I made an appointment at the spa on our first visit after our purchase only to be told NO they would NOT accept it ,this was after my appointment but I had asked before booking if they honored the voucher and I was assured they would. They told me I had to mail it to the address which is In Florida,send copy of receipt then they would reimburse me the $100 dollars I had spent. This was sent by certified mail and signed for. On the voucher it said to allow 6 to 8 weeks for processing,this was on November 11,2016 and as of this date January 29, 2017 I have yet to receive my refund of $100 as promised, So this is FRAUD !!! Just another reason to NOT purchase at this resort and most definitely DO NOT USE ANY VOUCHER YOU ARE GIVEN!!
THEY WILL PROMISE YOU AND TRY TO GIVE YOU ANYTHING TO BUY. SO PLEASE BEWARE .AND YES I AM A OWNER. ON TripAdvisor my complaint was played down by whomever wrote the response by saying they didn't know if I was a owner. REALLY???? CHECK THE COMPUTER AND THIS UNIFORMED PERSON WOULD HAVE HER ANSWER TO THAT !!!
