We have made a note of the issues you outlined, and we will be working with our team to improve these areas. I was disappointed to read that you did not have a pleasant check-in experience and can assure you I will be personally investigating the matter. We typically are very responsive to the needs of our guests, and we are sorry this did not happen during your visit. Does the Hotel have hook up for DVD player on the TV's?
I really don't remember if there is a hookup for a DVD player on the TV, as we only watched the TV. I recommend you call the hotel.

How far is it from the baseball stadium?
The Crowne Plaza is within walking distance of the baseball stadium. It took us about 10 minutes to get to Camden Yards.

Is there transportation from the airport?
Is the swimming pool open now?
The swimming pool was open when we were there in early July. I think it's open through Labor Day. However, be aware that currently you can't get to the pool from the Crowne Plaza. You have to go through the restaurant shared by the Crowne Plaza and Radisson, go up the Radisson's elevator to the 3rd floor, and enter from there. That should change once renovations are complete.
