This B&B is located very well and had good amenities. The house is very old thus it had a lot of charm (funkiness) about it. The breakfasts served family style were great and the complimentary snack set up was more than expected. No keys here...更多

In regards to the Oleander Room, the bathroom at one time had a curtain but we have made slight changes to the room. The bathroom now has a door. Please let us know if you have any other questions. We hope we can be of service to you when you visit Galveston Island.
Can any comment on the cruise parking they offer at the Railroad Museum? I am wondering what type of lot it is (secure?). Also, what type of items are for breakfast. My husband has celiac disease and cannot eat wheat, so I was wondering if they offered any gluten free options (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc). Thank you!

Thank you for your inquiry. We have a special arrangement with the Galveston Railroad Museum to provide complimentary parking for our guests going on cruises. The parking lot at the museum is secured. It has a chain link fence around it and it is just off the Museum entrance. During the day there is activity at the museum and at the parking lot. But it is not patrolled. We have been using that parking lot for our guests for the past 2 1/2 years and we have not had any problems.
We serve a full breakfast family style each morning. The breakfast generally consists of fresh fruit, a hot breakfast entrée, pastries along with juices and coffee. Our guests can also enjoy complimentary hot/cold beverages and snacks, including fresh baked sweets, throughout the day in our hospitality room.
Regarding your husband diet, we can accommodate any food restrictions. Please give us a list of the items that he can't eat and we will adjust his breakfast accordingly.
Please contact us directly if you have additional questions or if we may be of help. We appreciate your questions and look forward to your stay with us in April.
