Did I see that they search your vehicles or RV for alcohol? We play to stay in our Motorhome. Any suggestions on what area is better than the other?

They will search your RV, vehicles, or whatever else you have. It's not hard to sneak it in, in an RV there should be lots of good hiding spots. They're usually pretty busy and just do a quick check of the obvious places. Hide a bottle in a rolled up sleeping bag, in an RV hide a case of beer in the oven. I usually tell them "I knew I couldn't bring in alcohol" so they don't search quite as good.
I've heard the campground is classified as a bar on their liquor license, that's why they won't allow outside alcohol. Plus they make more money when they can sell a case of beer for $30
As far as where to park your RV, unless you get there early or have a reserved spot, your choices may be limited. A lot of areas fill up fast, and they pack them in pretty tight. You don't have a lot of room to maneuver an RV once the campground starts to fill up.
You may end up having to park in one of the open field areas. I'd advise that if this is the case, try to stay near one of their roads. Every year I've been out there we've got rain and the fields can turn into a mud pit quickly. Once that happens, travel can be difficult for larger vehicles that venture too far from the campgrounds main roads.
Also if you have an ATV, golf cart, or some other recreational vehicle, I'd bring it. Last year I brought my ATV and it really saved me a lot of walking. When the campground starts to fill up it can be 1/2 mile walk each way to the concert areas, food vendors, or showers and bathrooms, especially when your walking through ankle deep mud!
Good luck! Have fun!
