Is there any promo or voucher codes to try make it a little more affordable
We are not a camper but need to take our 7 YO boy out and having a real experience camp not gramping. Should you recommend a location or any particular spot that we can request? I have a look for booking and the power camp is sold out. Will the power make it difference much? Thanks you in advance.

A 4 person tent can be bought from under $100 or up to the skies the limit. And a blow up mattress is the cheapest start to bedding. The single burner gas stoves are the cheapest way to start the kitchen off, and come in handy as a spare as your kitchen grows.
Depending on you child's age or skills with water I would most likely camp on the larger paddock below the toilet block. If the kids are older and you don't mind a longer walk to the loos camp on the bottom paddock.
As you camp more look at weather it is worth buying or bringing all the powered gadgets. Best thing no power means no technology and it makes us all have to use the grey matter more.
I progressed out of the tent around 10 years ago to a camper trailer, but for quick over night trips the tent and minimal gear comes out.
The town of Kenilworth also is worth a visit, ice cream at the cheese factory has been a favorite with my kids.
Were thinking of going for a 5 night camp with kids and my kelpie. Is there fishing here? We loved going to island reach camp grounds but fishing was not really a go. :)
