i have been to 2 hotels in cape verde and could not swim in either, this is such a shame, can you swim in the sea at your hotel or do you have the waves also ?
hi, can anyone tell me if the villas have their own sunbeds and parasoles as i have skin cancer and need shaded at all times. i sent hotel an email but got no reply. can you also tell me how much extra it will be for a villa. i sent the booking office an email and was told sunbeds are first come first serve..... lovely attitude to give someone with skin cancer. i leave in two weeks time and i'm really concerned by the bad reviews saying you cant get a sunbed with shade. i asked for price for upgrade to level so that we could use the bali beds but it was over £1,000. we've already paid over £2,000 for five star holiday that should include use of bali beds. i don't even drink so their premium drink would be wasted on me. can anyone tell me if the upgrade is worth over £1000 extra. thank you. kind regards. m. shaw.

Hi, Can anyone tell me if you can buy cigarettes here as most of the reviews I have read say basically there is nothing to buy so don't forget anything. Thanks

Most hotels have a small shop, the Tortuga has one on way down to beach where they cell Marlboro cigarettes for around €3.50 per pack, you can also buy cigarettes in Santa Maria which is a short taxi ride away, best bet is to buy them at the airport on your way there as Cape Verde is not within the EU so you get them dirt cheap in duty free. Have a great holiday whatever you do.
