We are staying at the NSL in a few weeks. Traditionally, I have been cautious with eating including avoiding non-bottled water, raw fruits and vegetables, etc. However, the NSL looks like they take care with preparation. Does anyone have any advice? Any bad experiences eating and drinking?

How many days are you there for?
I had 2 nights and I tipped general staff 300 Pula and Guide 500 Pula.
I have read that this lodge is on the edge of Chobe NP, not in it? Does that mean that it is located in a private reserve and the game drives can go off road as long as they are not in the park?

Thank you for your enquiry. You are correct in saying that Ngoma Safari Lodge, is located on a private reserve. In the Chobe National Park, as responsible operators, we try to get up close to viewing the wildlife within safe distances, without having to go too far off road. Animal siting during the dry season is relatively good, you shouldn't be disappointed.
