My business partner and I had lunch at the WH on Friday. He enjoyed fresh cod whereas I had the locally sourced pork belly. All food was delicious, produced quickly, and the service was attentive. For the quality, prices were fair. Well recommended.
Recommended by our B&B hosts, and was very glad that they did. Had an excellent 2 course evening meal here, which was tasty, well presented, and not to large a portion size.
Friendly staff who were not over attentive
Plenty of space at the back of the pub, and adjacent to the rooms.

We are sorry to hear that that our home made pork pie hasn't been enjoyed! We take great pride in our customers experience being a delightful one from the warm welcome, delicious food (or drink) and exceptional service throughout. We would like to clarify our pork pies are all home made using only the finest pork shoulder, which is always local and sometimes home reared at The White Horse, so very local indeed! The pastry is a traditional lard recipe also. If ever a dish is not to someone's' taste we are more than happy to rectify this if informed.
