Wandered in to Howtown after a walk from Patterdale looking for somewhere to get a cuppa and a cake before getting the Steamer back to Glenridding, and spotted a sign saying 'Tea Room'. Very new and clean, with helpful staff and fast service. The pot...更多

we only called in for tea after our group walk. I would think it would be music free as it is a lovely old worlde hotel. It used to have music in the bar long long ago where they would sing all the hunting songs but I have never heard of it happening now. My friend went on a sunday night for a meal where it is a old fashioned salad and all the staff are in old fashioned costume.
