What a nice property. The customer service at check in was a wonderful experience. Carol was so pleasant and made you feel instantly welcomed. Room was spacious and clean. This is my first time at a mainstay suite. I can’t speak for any other location, but this location is great. Apparently there is good management which flows down to employees and, by extension, good customer service! Will definitely return.
I usually stay at another hotel down the street when traveling for work. I figured with everything going on maybe other hotels would have a deal. Ended up trying Mainstay. I have to say it was really nice and new. Easy location off the highway. Staff was really nice with any requests. The price for what you get is great! Ill be staying here again next time.
I had surgery at the CTCA (Cancer Treatment Center of America) and CTCA had booked my room at the Mainstay since we were to be there so long. When we got there, a Bait & Switch was done and we got a Sleep Inn room. Wherein we were supposed to have a breakfast nook, we ended up with a microwave & small fridge. My surgery was extensive stomach surgery. The room has NO bars for safety at the toilet or in the shower. The toilet tissue is about 8” from the floor and very difficult to reach. The toilet itself is low so difficult to get down onto or back up without a bar. Our coffee, cups, shampoo, towels, tissue, and soap were never replenished. Each day when we returned from the hospital, we had to call the front desk, and since there was no one to bring the items up, it was left up to us to go back down and get the items they forgot. The room wasn’t vacuumed once while we were there our 12 days. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. The eggs are egg beaters and were dry and cold. The elevator shook so bad that each time, you wonder if you’ll be stuck. There is no pool, which is fine; but there is also no outside seating which means while many of us are outside waiting for the CTCA shuttle, the only place to sit was on the curb. With stomach surgery, I had to stand. Many people were elderly and also couldn’t sit on the curb so had to stand. One night at 10:30, fireworks were being lit off in the parking lot, making it hard for Cancer patients to get much needed rest. One time when I was at the front desk to get shampoo & conditioner, a man was standing there very irate. He’d just checked into his room and the door was open and there were no towels, shampoo, conditioner or soap. During my stay I saw people continuously shaking their head.…
Very clean brand new rooms. I have stayed here a couple times When I go to the Cancer Treatment Center. The rooms are very clean and spacious and it is conveniently located near plenty of restaurants and the Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Have always had friendly people at the front desk.
