Excellent hotel to stay at, although a bit pricey. Everyone was very friendly and pleasent. The hotel was very clean. Employees offered their help without being asked. The restaurant has a very unique menu and the service is good.

Rooms were lovely. Carpets were tired and could use attention in the room 1036. Bathroom was well appointed and fully stocked. Of particular note, we felt very welcome upon our arrival and during our stay due to James Markowitz.

Beautiful golden age hotel. Excellent staff and great food. Quiet and large suites are perfect compliment for our daughter's wedding night and guest stay over. Only 15 minutes from our wedding venue at historic Winterthur. Could not have been better!

Rave review for Kara Klimchok and the hotel. Kara is a STAR employee.she was helpful from start to finish. Rose was always helpful on the phone. We enjoyed talking to Keith Miller during the complimentary cocktail in the afternoon. Our stay was outstanding.

This hotel was great. Staff was amazing ! We enjoyed our time. Front desk staff was extremely friendly, lots of food options available near the hotel, enjoyed our walked at the riverfront which is a small ways away from the hotel.
