This is now our second visit to the hotel and it has remained excellent.
The rooms themselves are well spaced and include a dining area and spacious bathroom. There is good selection of TV channels and plenty of storage space in the room. We had...更多
We are a family of 4 and really enjoyed our stay here at Travelodge Santa Monica. The staff were very helpful and the facilities were great. It was nice and clean and even though it is a distance to the beach, the $1 bus was...更多
I travel around the world for a living and I stay in many hotels. This place is simply one if the best hotels in terms of service, cleanliness, and location that I have ever visited. When I had last minute vacation plan changes, twice the...更多
I found this gem of a place quite by accident online, and what a lucky accident it was. I travel around the world for a living and this little hotel has higher customer service and just downright niceness than I have experienced in many luxury...更多
Have stayed here 12 times in the last 6 months. The hotel and staff never disappoint. The breakfast area is small, however the food is good and saves from purchasing breakfast each morning. The rooms are always clean and the staff is absolutely wonderful. Most...更多
We are thinking about booking for 2 nights in June but we have a question.
We would like a day on the beach but also we would like to see the sights of LA such as the Hollywood sign. Is this feasable for this location?

Thank you for your inquiry. If you like we can also suggest some tours for you that take you to the tourist attraction that pick up from the hotel and also drop you off. The hotel is about 2 1/2 mile to Santa Monica Beach and the Third St. promenade. There is bus stop located 1 block away from the hotel a public transportation (Santa Monica big blue bus) you pay $1.25 per person (one way) to get you to the Pier.
Do you charge to receive guest's purchases?
I'm interested to stay at Travelodge Santa Monica for 8 nights in april/may with a 7 year old.
Is that hotel in a safe neighborhood? When I searched about the area then there were very mixed reviews, some said it's a safe neighborhood, others said that it isn't. We don't have a car, so we would be using Uber, buses and walks.
Thank you for those who find time to answer :)

I'm no expert on the neighborhood but will share my thoughts and experiences with you. We were two older women sharing a room - it seemed safe enough to us. We walked to a restaurant a block away for dinner and back after dark without incident. The next morning I walked about four blocks to a restaurant where I met another friend for lunch and again had no problems and did not feel unsafe - it seemed to be a residential area. Some of the rooms seemed to open onto a parking area that is open to the street. Our room opened onto a gated courtyard that you needed a room key to open. You might request a room in that area if you are concerned about safety. As long as you don't wander too far from the hotel at night you should be ok - I'm rarely comfortable doing that in an unfamiliar neighborhood.
"I was on the first floor in the courtyard with a kitchenette - quiet and a minute to get to your car."
