I overnighted in Gweru and was lucky to find Bradley Gardens Lodge. It's presently being expanded but the room I was given was clean with all necessary conveniences. There is a pleasant garden. They have solar panels so the regular Zim power outages weren't a problem. The management went to the trouble of bringing in a chef to cook me dinner, and the manager Mike couldn't have been more helpful, e.g. arranging petrol and currency for me. The road to the property is terrible but it's worth persisting, Bradley Gardens Lodge was a real find.
