We went on holiday in George. Located in the main road but you can hear the traffic. Awsome place, located centrally, we had great service. The breakfast supplied was also great will def go there again.

We arrived at our destination after hours (±18:00) and were welcomed by a very friendly staff member. He gave us a safe parking spot and ensured us that he would be looking after our car during the night.

Very nice stay. Was there for a sports tour so did not get to spend too much time at the lodge during the day. People friendly. Very central. Room was comfortable. Enjoyed the homely atmosphere and the resident cats.
With regards to your response to my review posted 5 days ago I would like to note the following to you:
1. I did voice my concerns to the owner during my stay/during breakfast to be exact and he was very adamant that there is no fault at his establishment. We had to pay the rate for the 2 separate rooms even though he admitting that the booking was not noted correctly on the lodges side. This is not good customer service.
2. Please note, we did not eat the breakfast. We left with our order served by the chef/waiter you have but did not consume the food when we saw the quality that was served. The produce served was in no way fresh.
3. You only had a security guard on duty who has trouble communicating in English.
4. The fact that you have Jacuzzis/ in your rooms do not make up for the service delivery issues that you clearly have.
5. The fact that the owner has 35 years experience in the hospitality industry does not reflect in the way he treated me and my family.
6. The owner himself refused to take payment via card the Sunday morning.
The reply to my review reflects the ignorance and arrogance of the owner.
