Yes they do have a doctor on call service.
I am new to this concept of not tipping as you go and waiting until the end to give one big tip. I assume this means all of the staff share the tips. We are staying at The Leela Palace in New Delhi and then on to The Oberoi Amarvilas next week. The Leela Palace has the same policy. This is a once in a lifetime trip for us so I wanted to splurge. We have never stayed in such a luxurious (and expensive) hotel and I would like some advice on the amount of tipping. How does a guest come up with a number? I don't want to insult anyone by tipping too little. What is customary?

At the Oberoi, they had a very small, discreet sign in our suite stating that they do not encourage giving tips to employees. If someone has done an exceptional job, you can give it to them at the end and recognize anyone... 更多
