Loved this tented camp on the edge of the Mara River. One morning when we got up we noticed a crocodile on the opposite bank. You had to be guided to and from your tent.
The staff and food were great, couldn't fault.

The water boilers were heated through the use of firewood as far as I saw - they stressed that if there is accidentally no hot water to just come tell them instead of settling for a cold shower. In my experience it was very dependable and not reliant on weather (though constant heavy rain might interrupt the firewood burning, I believe).
