Friendly, helpful staff: Mohammed sorted out any queries. Abdul served lovely breakfasts and dinners. Great location for visiting the main sites in Marrakech. If you want an authentic experience this Riad is a good choice. Would visit again.
Nice riad, very friendly staff. Excursions can be booked here easily at low prices, about a 20 min slow walk to the main square, which gives you time to see a lot of stalls, food places etc. As mentioned, the staff were friendly and very...更多

Day Trips From Marrakesh And Camel Ride in Atlas Mountains
Late review, but shoutout to Hamid & Abde! Salem alaykum! ;) I booked this tour the day before & Hamid was happy to arrange a private tour even though it was last minute. Pickup was punctual at 9.00 from the riad I was staying in. We drove through Tahnaout on the way to Asni for the camel ride, stopping briefly at a few goirges to take pictures. The camel ride at Asni went for about 1.5hrs & was immensely fun (camels are a lot calmer than horses). Following that there was a bit of a drive to reach Imlil valley. Lunch was served to me there at the Riad in Atlas (owned by the same company). There was probably no need for me to eat breakfast as I was served more than enough food & all of it good! The terrace has stunning views of one of the valleys & its hard not to be taken away by the beauty of the country whilst you lunch. Hamid was also nice enough to show me around the riad which had just been done up in 2014–it's a gorgeous place. We started hiking at around 14.00 & there was the option to go for a short or longer hike that took you through more of the valley & Berber villages. I'd definitely recommend taking the 2nd option as the views near the end, especially with Toubkal in the background, are amazing. Hike itself wasn't too challenging (& I'm definitely no mountain goat), & went up the valley first, past a waterfall, & into 1 of the bigger Berber villages there, before winding down back through a few other villages. I've honestly never seen such beautiful views! We finished hiking after about 2-3hrs, before heading back into Marrakech. I also asked to stop by a women's cooperative that produces argan oil & this request was also easily met. I got back to Marrakech at around 18.30. Though the private nature of the tour made it quite pricey (1735 dirhams), for me the day I had justified the price. The views were well worth it, the camel ride was a hoot & I had a blast hiking. To top it off, Abde & Hamid were easy to get along with & have a great sense of humour. Hamid in particular was an extremely adept guide; he knew a lot about the Imlil valleys, the culture, & the local Berbers there. All in all, highly recommend booking Atlas tours! I think that we paid something similar, but we only paid about £7 for B&B. Riad Dubai was great value and great fun for this.
