We recently returned from a two-night here with our family, 2 adults and 2 children ages 13 and 16. We stayed in the Aracari bungalow which was fantastic. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for us with two separate bedrooms, plenty of sitting areas and storage...更多
My husband and our three children (ages 13, 11, and 8) just returned from a week at Bosque del Cabo. What a wonderful week! The scenery and animals were amazing, the accommodations were gorgeous, and the food was wonderful. The staff is kind and friendly,...更多
This resort was amazing because of the wonderful people who work there, the great facilities, the natural beauty, the food, the trails, and of course the scarlet macaws and the monkeys! Our family of 4 (2 adults and our 20ish sons) spent 4 nights at...更多
We stayed three nights on this property. It's remote and that makes it a great way to disconnect from usual life. You cannot possibly avoid multiple animal sightings ( "oh there go the spider monkeys overhead again. Here comes another pair of macaws flying by...更多
Hi there ~ can anyone recommend the best shoes to pack? We are planning on doing a lot of hiking but don't want to pack our hiking boots. Or can anyone describe the trails (and off trails?)

We found Keen shoes or tennis shoes were fine. The most difficult hike is the path down to the Pacific Ocean just because it's a huge number of steps. The other trails are walking paths

We are planning a trip to Bosque Del Cabo. We have heard how extraordinary Corcovado Nat'l Park is. How difficult -- and expensive - is it to plan a day trip to Corcovado from Bosque Del Cabo? And perhaps even more pertinent, how much more is there to see in Corcovado than locally around the lodge? I read a NYT article that said, as much as he loved BDC, the best wildlife the author saw was when he travelled from BDC to hike into Corcovado. Thanks!

We did not travel beyond the BDC area. We saw plenty of wildlife on the property which is extensive. We did not see any of the large cats and that might be more possible in the park itself but any such sighting is going to be 'iffy'. I have no idea about cost. BDC is expensive in my book, but I never felt we were getting less than our money's worth. Its a very good place.
