Booked this lovely pub/hotel per chance to break up a motorbike trip from Fort William, Scotland back to Norfolk. It was a well run, quaint rural pub, wonderful hospitality provided by the landlord and staff and friendly atmosphere. Fantastic 'home cooked' meal in the evening...更多
Excellent food and excellent service, well worth a visit. 6 of us all rated this 5 star. Best of food and a relaxed friendly place to eat. Highly recommended for a great pub meal. Go. The steak pie and fish & chips were the best....更多
Lovely comfortable bed. Great views. Clean and tidy. Great food. Made to feel welcome and enjoyed our stay. Wonderful break in the countryside. Weather was kind to us too! Visited Derwent reservoir and Robin hood tree at Sycamore Gap within easy reach.

Hi my partner and I are getting married next September with our reception at the carts bogged inn. We are looking for accommodation for family and fiends as a lot of our guests are from elsewhere in the country and world. Can you please let me know how many guests you can accomdate over night and if you have cots etc. Thankyou :)

We have stayed at Rye Hill Farm which isn't far from Slaley and is an excellent B&B with a campsite. From memory it's about £35 per person per night. Rooms are spotless and breakfast is good. We have also stayed at the Manor House Inn, which is a little further away, on the A68, and again is very good. The Crown Inn at Slaley is a community owned pub with accommodation. Have eaten there, but not stayed. Details of all three are on Trip Advisor.
Is it wheelchair accessable?

I cannot recall any steps either entering or inside the pub. If going for a meal I would recommend. If staying there then play it safe and call ahead as as far as I can remember the stairs to the bedrooms are narrow but the staff were helpful and friendly so I feel sure that they would help you up and down.
