Donatella made our visit to Florence a delightful one, from recommendations of restaurants (definitely try the local favorites), to suggestions on seeing the best sites in Florence. The room was nicely sized and had the added benefit of a private balcony.

Iam staying at monte oliveto in just over a weeks time is it far to walk to from the train station or would you recommend a taxi or is there a bus that would take us near to the accomodation. Also I do not have the proprietors e-mail address which would be helpful to ask for directions

The walk from the train station is quite easy if you know where you are going. The small streets and alleys can be quite confusing at first, however with a little practice we found the route very easy and direct. I believe... 更多
The walk from the train station is quite easy if you know where you are going. The small streets and alleys can be quite confusing at first, however with a little practice we found the route very easy and direct. I believe it is best to take the short taxi ride to get your bearings first and then attempt the walk.

How many floors and is the room with the green headboard bed on an upper floor?

Probably too late now, but the Wisteria room is on what you would call the second floor. There are 3 floors where the guests are either accommodated or fed. The entrance is up some flights of steps.
