This is a very good property to stay in Dooars. This resort is situated just opposite to Murti river and almost 11 Kms from Gorumara National Park.We went for a dooars tour after lockdown and stayed in this property for 2 days. This resort is maintained by West Bengal Tourist Development Corporation. Rooms and bathroom were neat and clean. Food quality was good and price was reasonable. Payment mode accepted are cash and card. Check in time is 12pm and checkout time is 11 Am. Staff behaviour was also good. If you want to see a detailed review of this tourist lodge you can visit my YT channel TravellersLens I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxed vacation
We visited murti tourist lodge on 4 Jan. We stayed here for 2 nights. It was raining but still Juniour assistant Sayantan Ghosh assisted us a lot and made our stay very pleasant and very memorable. We had initially booked one cottage but we needed another one and internet wasn't working. Juniour assistant Sayantan Ghosh arranged another cottage for us. Since my parents are senior citizens, they had a bit problem because of the cold weather but again sayantan helped us in every possible way from arranging cars to get food served in room and made our stay ver very comfortable.Murti tourist lodge is a government property but we had a homely feeling especially because of Sayantan. The other staffs are also very helpful. Thank you so much specially to Sayantan Ghosh.
Good hotel. Location is also good. Just beside murti river. Inside garden good for children. Food quality is ok. Need to inform them well in advance about required menu. They organize jungle trip as well. Room is excellent.
We just stay for one night. We made booking after reaching the tourist lodge because the W.B. tourism site has some techniqal problem therefore we couldn't book online. It is situated just opposite of Murti river. There are two types of cottages one is brick and another wooden furnished. We opted second one. The room rate was costly; breakfast complimentary. They welcome us with puja greetings kit( chocolate, sweets and tea box) which was very nice. Food quality is not upto the mark. They arranged for jeep safari on request. You can spend leisure time in the garden.
A lovely place to stay beside a mountain and forest stream. The cottages are quite comfortable and lawns are well maintained. The dining area however, needs air-conditioning as it is quite hot during summer and quite a walk from the cottages when it rains.A lovely place to enjoy nature.
