96 of 97 reviews were either very good or excellent.
There is no average rating and no poor rating, but only your
1 terrible rating. Let us assume 96 are the majority of the
reviews. So, there must be obviously something wrong
... not with Terra di Liguria but with your rating.
There are two reasons:
1. When we have a look into trip advisor guidelines, there is
one decisive requirement which you clearly did not fulfill:
"Keep your reviews relevant and helpful to travellers"
2. You just rated your poor preparation and wrong expectations.
> Let's have a comparison: When you want to climb a mountain
and you don't inform yourself about the route or your equipment
is not appropriate, who will be responsible in case of an accident ?
The mountain ? The owner of the mountain hut ? I assume, the
preparation is your responsibilty - right ?
> It is clear, that Terra di Liguria is in the countryside and there
are no 2-lane paved roads. Seems, all the other guests have
known that - so, your problems with your motorcycle are neither
relevant nor helpful for other guests.
It is not decisive, whether you didnot inform in advance about
the route to their location or whether the use of your motorcycle
was not matching with the road or what you "expected" there.
It is always the same: Missing preparation.
In other words, instead of rating the service of the B&B, you
transform your anger about your own lack of preparation into
a terrible rating. This is not helpful and not fair.
I have been in Terra di Liguria 3 times and Renzo and Francesca
are the the best hosts I ever experienced. They offer the warmest
hospitality and best service and are for sure not responsible for
your problems with your motorcycle.
Those guests, who think before booking, have an advantage.
