Stayed here for 9 nights in December 2023. We came to Jamaica for an 80th birthday celebration ,but did not want to stay in an all inclusive resort. Modrians was the perfect place for us. Spotlessly clean, it is a very relaxed, family environment set amongst beautiful gardens. From the time we arrived, the owners, Adrian and Maureen, made us feel so welcome. Nothing seemed to be too much for them. They were also very knowledgeable about the local area. They gave us really good recommendations about where to visit and the best places to eat out.
The breakfasts were delicious. From the Jamaican classics like Ackee and saltfish, callaloo or cornmeal porridge, to the favourites like eggs and fluffy waffles or pancakes, they were all served hot and at the time specified. Maureen's franks have to be sampled to be believed. They are the best you will ever taste!
The owner, Adrian loves football, especially the English Premier league. Despite supporting completely different teams, he and my son had endless conversations about the sport and the players. We used the games room quite a lot during our stay. It had a games console, a pool table, a good variety of board games and of course a set of dominos! We also used the swimming pool whilst we were there.
Our only regret is that we had to check out 2 nights early. We had to rearrange our travel plans so we could spend Christmas with family. However, Maureen made sure we did not miss out on her home made Sorrel and rum cake.

Modrians never disappoint. My second time here and it was even better than the first. Clean and quiet environment. Hospitality turnt up not to mention the food (mmm… mmm… mmm…) lol. Five star ratings right through. Will definitely be back for sure!!!!
