I stayed for two weeks on a work related trip, and select the location due to convenience by ferry to Hamilton. What great choice! This is a real Bermuda guest house, in the family for multiple generations. The are various styles of rooms to choose...更多
I literally booked our stay online Saturday night and we turned up at Greenbank on Sunday morning. The owner, Melanie, was a wonderfully gracious host, accommodated us showing up last minute, and took such good care of us. The location right next to the Salt...更多
Wow! What a great place. After one day there I was automatically referring to it as "home." Our cottage room was spotless, with a comfy bed and very well-equipped kitchen. The setting was wonderful, with a view of the little islands and small boat traffic...更多
We also had a wonderful stay in the Coconut Cottage. Great little place to escape to after a day of touring or beaches. Keep in mind this isn't the Ritz but it is clean and suited all our needs. Salt Kettle is a great area...更多
Location, location. On the tiny Salt Kettle peninsula and a short ferry ride to Hamilton where buses fan out all over the island. No rental cars in Bermuda but motor scooters are for rent to the courageous. We buy a 4 or 7 day ferry/bus...更多
My wife and I are considering Greenbank for an October 2016 visit. A lot is said about the convenience of the ferry to Hamilton. Could you tell me a little more about the ferry. Are we talking about a regularly scheduled ferry or more of a local shuttle without a set schedule? Passenger size? Does it run late in the evening? Also, while having a kitchen is a plus we will also want to eat out. Are there restaurants nearby? Hopefully we would not have to take a ferry or taxi every time we wanted to eat out? Finally, THE BEACHES? Will we need to take a taxi for our beach visits? Area and complex sounds relaxing but will it be too relaxing (remote) for first time visitors? Thank you.
Do you have a beach? Is it a swimming and snorkeling beach? If so, do you service it with beverage and food service? Are umbrellas, lounges or cabanas available on the beach? Thank you, Desert Flower
I am interested in a cottage with a view for Aug. 2015. Not sure of the dates yet, but 7 days.
Can you tell me if you accept families; we have 3 kids and what the price is for the week? Thanks Maria
