Four well spaced comfortably sized genuine teepees set on separate decks, decked inside with fairy lights and a clay fireplace, candles, and comfortable mattresses on pallets. A truly magical place. Each teepee has its own bathroom a short walk away from the teepees. Access to the owners well equipped kitchen. The fireplace had loads of wood and was very much enjoyed and appreciated as the temperature dropped to 8oC on New Year’s Eve! There is a fire pit allocated to each teepee too, which would have been great to use if it hadn’t rained the whole time we visited. Torch and solar charger provided. The dogs are kept separate from the teepee site.
We visited A Hog's Life in December, it was amazing! We were so disappointed with OURSELVES for only booking 2 nights!!! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Anke with so much love. The setup is on point, and the Teepees are perfect. So much thought went into the decor, we loved the mexican chimnea, and the candles, inscents and fairy lights made it so romantic! One can see the dogs, and even the pigs and chickens are so happy there. Highly recommended, we want to go back every year!!!
If staying in a tee pee is on your bucket list...this is the place to do it. The hosts are lovely, the tee pees magical and the cause...amazing. All of the funds go to animal rescue. A beautiful place, surroundings and town...all funky and fun. Loved it all...
Luxurious teepees each housing two people. Beautiful aloe garden. Each teepee has a deck. The proceeds are used to contribute to the animal rescue project. There are dogs all over on the property but they are well behaved. Family business
