Our family of 4 was quite comfortable in the spacious Stargazer cabin for 2 nights during the off-season. Loved the solitude, thatched roof, views, complimentary port, wandering the labyrinth at sunset, and the fireplace! Hot showers and comfortable beds. We could have stayed longer. The best coffee drinks during our month in South Africa were had at the restaurant, which also has solid food and an extensive wine list. Front reception was a bit disjointed but again, it was off-season. A couple of cute shops on site as well.
The chosen accommodation was Cliffside. Spacious, clean, furnished tastefully with solid antiques, fully equipped kitchen, wonderful outdoor bath and shower. A comfortable large patio with the gorge and mountain spreading out before you. A wedding venue, restaurant, gift shop, baked goods & trout available on the premises plus a spa...what more could you want? A labyrinth? It has that too!
