Dear Guest Thanks for your inquiry, however, unfortunately kite surfing is not possible in front of the hotel - due to some coral outcrops at low tide. However not too far away from the hotel - there are sand flats where one is able to kite surf. Furthermore unfortunately - due to equipment not being available locally - there are no kite surfing classes/teachers that we know of on the island - that can assist, but we can gladly find out for you if such services exist and the costs thereof. Dear Guest We look forward to welcoming you back to the Coco de Mer. We do offer a guided nature walk into the forest and mountain behind the hotel. This leaves the hotel every Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays - at 09.15 and returns to the hotel approximately 2 - 2.5 hours later. Dear Riche 1965 Thank you for your kind contact on this portal. It depends upon the period of year that you decide to travel in. We are situated on the South west coast of Praslin and typically between the months of May to October this coastline can experience a build up of seaweed on its beaches. However, it is not always there and dependent upon the tides, sea conditions and the wind. Between the months mid October to beginning May - this coastline is generally clear of the seaweed - however it depends upon the conditions of the weather as well. This occurrence happens on the opposite coast from October to May. We trust this information is of assistance to you.

Dear Guest Thank you for your inquiry. Please note that we offer a maximum of Half Board at the hotel - which is inclusive of breakfast and dinner. If guests wish to have lunch - lunch is available in our oceanfront Mango terrace restaurant from an a la carte menu daily and is for guests private billing. Just to note that there are many excursions offered on the island that are also inclusive of lunch - so offering a full board or all inclusive option - prevents clients from having the opportunity of going on these and exploring the island as well. There are also some great restaurants on the island that you can try out at lunch time or whenever you are out and about on the island. Thank you for your kind contact. as per the above suggestions, you can either fly over on the inter island plane or take the local ferry between Mahe and Praslin. The plane across takes approximately 15 minutes whilst the Cat Cocos ferry about 55 minutes. Once you arrive at either the port or airport on Praslin, the road transfer to the hotel takes approximately 10/15 minutes.
