We were exhibiting at Event City and needed a decent nearby hotel. Worsley Park fit the bill.
The rooms are decent, although need a little updating. The shower was so disappointing, like a treacle.
The restaurants serve average food - really nothing special and expensive...更多

Stayed in a suite with my husband and 2 sons. Lots of free parking which is good. Public areas very nice, used the chimney bar which was good and also the pool which was nice with a hot tub, sauna and steam room.
We stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful hotel - perfect country setting. Large clean room, good restaurant, friendly staff but disappointed in the breakfasts - a young man was cooking on his own - not managing very well with queues of people waiting -...更多
The hotel has a really lovely location with plenty of free parking and really comfortable rooms.
I really enjoyed my stay, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was really tasty.
I would definitely stay again.

I skied at chill Factore before staying at this hotel. chill Factore is part of the Trafford leisure park just opposite the Trafford Shopping Centre and is just off the M60 at junction 10. Driving from here took only 30-40 mins on a v. busy M60 and the hotel is not far from J. 13 .Taking a taxi to the centre of Manchester could prove expensive. As mentioned below, there is a nice restaurant on the hotel grounds itself, or, you could try some of the restaurants in the town of Worsley itself , some are only 10 mins drive away. If you have a car, I suggest a time of 1 hour to get to the city centre. It's up to you but look at the local dining around the area of Worsley first. There ia also a tropical bird sanctuary and a waterway where you can try your hand at barging. - v. popular wrt John Seargent and Punella Scales on the tv lately. Food for thought for your anniversary celebration.

Alternatively to my above answer you could drive to Eccles (about 3miles) then get on the Metrolink Tram at either Eccles or next door stop Ladywell which has a large free car park... the journey will take about 15-20mins the get off at Pamona or stop before (think Exchange Quay) then 5min walk to ground... prices i would guess are about £5 or £6 return but you best check on Metrolink website for exact details... trams can get rammed if matchday so leave to go to game with plenty of time (less busier earlier set off)...

I used Uber whilst here to travel into the city centre. It was really cheap, easy and only a 10/15 minute drive away.
