La Pergola de las Flores biedt heel nette, eenvoudige kamers met een gedeelde badkamer. Overal in het huis zijn vliegenhorren. De gastvrouw doet er alles aan om je er thuis te laten voelen: van een rondleiding door de tuin (met een grote abrikozenboom) tot tips om de omgeving te verkennen. Bij het ontbijt kregen we verse! abrikozenjam. Sylvia is van Duitse komaf en spreekt o.a. Spaans en Duits. Ze vond het oprecht jammer dat we maar 1 nacht bleven.We betaalden voor 2 personen incl. ontbijt (2014) 240 pesos.

Sylvias Haus ist ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Sie sogt für alles, ob man nun Ersatzteile für das Auto braucht, einen Tourguide oder sonst etwas, alles kein Problem für Sylvia. Und wer ein gutes Essen haben möchten kann das auch bei Sylvias Tochter bekommen. Alles sehr zu empfehlen!

In the lovely town of San Francisco del Monte de Oro in the province of San Luis is a lovely place to stay. Sylvia Engelhorn, a German woman immigrated to Argentina some 30 years ago runs a little hostel there. We stayed in clean and nice room. There is also a huge garden, camping is also possible. Sylvias daughter Li is managing the kitchen in a superb way - breakfast, supper, dinner was always brilliant. What makes La Pergola great, is the 100% care you receive there. Sylvia and her family did everything to make our wishes and dreams come true. Nothing was impossible. We never felt like a strangers or a guests, we were treated like family. Sylvia provided us with tons of information, and Julio, her son in law, organized the most wonderful trips into the untouched country side. We did great horse riding with him. He really made it happen - camping in the mountains, meeting gauchos, bathing in wild rivers, asado at night. One of the best guides I ever had worldwide. Nothing was routine - we could really connect to the people there. Over the 12 days we stayed there, we became friends.
