Exquisite Church in a delightful picturesque village location. This building, is like many others a mixture of many styles and centuries. Happily, it all comes together smoothly, and yet are quite identifable, from the Norman font, and windows, as well as the typically outstandg Norman Arch Interestingly there is the grafitti atributed to the returning Crusaders, as well as a small section of the Bayeux Tapestry, and a memorial to the daughter of Ki;ng Canute daughter who drowned in the early 11th century, ironically this was the same ing who had been told by his advisor that such was his power he could control the incoming tide....
It is a lbeautiful church with its Saxon heritage, and foundations. It is also very maintained, and lovingly cared for by local volunteers.
With its charming uncluttered position close to the harbourside, and the small village, this is a Church that has a perfect location, with everything that you would imagine at local village - so worth seeking out.

One of the oldest churches that I have ever been to.
Beautiful outside (especially on a sunny day) and also inside
Very good leaflet/map showing the history of the Church (going back to Saxon times)

A totally lovely place of Christian worship for over a thousand years.
For us this is one of those churches with a special atmosphere and connection to it's village, not to mention significant and very lengthy history, long may this continue.

Church located few hundred meetings from Bosham quayside in a beautiful setting. Free and open access to the church but as always courtesy and respect to worshippers. The interior architecture as quaint and beautiful as the external setting. Bayeux does try apparently depicts King Harold II praying in the church before departing on his trip to Normandy to decide his successor. Well worth a visit if stopping at Bosham.

Came across this lovely church whilst walking around lovely Bosham. The church has links to both King Harold and allegedly Canute the Great ... it oozes history and is incredibly atmospheric. a place for calm self reflection

I have been visiting Bosham church for almost 50 years, today I realised it's changed so much, there are many places within the church asking for donations, ok that's fine to a point, but I was shocked that the current vicar walked past without a word. In the past the vicars have spoken, even if this vicar was in a hurry, which he wasn't I observed him chatting up the road. I am writing this in the hope that someone will tell him that one day a person might need his help and in a church situation I know from my past, he has a duty of care today he didn't care

Holy Trinity Church is located near the South Downs national park/Chichester Harbour. The church has a fascinating history that dates back to the seventh century. Well worth a visit if you are in Bosham.

Very interesting visit to this church where 1000 years of Christian worship can be shown to have occurred. The church itself is interesting to visit, and I am always encouraged, when visiting such places, if I find that they are still vibrant and functioning places of worship - which this one is. To me, this gives the place much more value than if it were merely some kind of monument to the past. Thank you for leaving material on view - posters about the persecuted church, helpful booklets on prayer, etc. which point to its present-day relevance.

The Holy Trinity Church cannot really be missed as it’s quite tall with its spire. It is in the centre of a garden which is full of monuments to remember the dead. The church is more than a thousand years old.
There are two doors, one on each side. Once inside you can see the colourful windows, font and altar. Also the ropes in the belfry can be seen.
Also inside you can see where King Canute’s daughter is buried.

The church is visitor friendly and offers some simple explanations which is unusual for a parish church. Beautiful location.

Holy Trinity Church is generally open from 9am each morning until 6pm each day for visitors.
Opening times tend to be shorter in winter months however, when opening may be later in the morning and the Church closing before dark.
