菲利浦島是澳洲孕育神仙企鵝的養育中心,
神仙企鵝的習性是,天黑了就集合到海邊,隨著一波波的海浪,衝回岸上,然後一擺一擺的走回巢穴!
我們是二月去觀賞,二月是澳洲的初秋,天黑的時間約在20:45~21:00左右
入夜後海邊的氣溫會下降,坐在光賞木條椅上,要帶保暖的外套,及能夠目視遠方的眼鏡!
大家被要求安靜及不准拍照,當晚大約21:03時第一隻企鵝才衝回岸上,
步履顢頇的搖擺步行回巢,真的很可愛~
回巢路上還會跟同類打個架之類的,可愛極了,回程可以目視小企鵝笨拙顢頇的回巢呢~

位於墨爾本近郊的企鵝保育中心，在日落時可觀賞企鵝上岸回家。晚上氣溫很低，要帶備足夠禦寒衣物。另外，只要企鵝上了岸，便可在木棧道近距離觀賞企鵝走過。

這是到達墨爾本後第一個活動。雖然是澳洲的夏天，但在晚上八點多開始在戶外等待企鵝還是很冷。不過等到天黑，一隻隻企鵝開始回歸，感覺所有都值得。

我們很喜歡這裏。當太陽下山時，你只要坐在公園指定的區域等待就好，不知不覺企鵝群就來了。它們搖搖晃晃地走過山上或走下木板路。公園對攝影有很多限制，比如太陽下山時不允許拍照，但我理解並遵守這一規則，當看到別人違反規則的話，我會很不滿。這是一次奇妙的經歷，能在企鵝的自然棲息地看到它們，這是一件很酷的事情。

我們喜歡這個設計精美的新企鵝展覽和建築，它們為孩子們提供了互動展示，還有一個很棒的咖啡館，我們在那裡喝咖啡，吃零食。我可以看到他們有一家看起來很棒的餐廳，提供非常豐盛的餐點。我們是白天去的，所以沒有參加企鵝遊行，但我喜歡這裡有關企鵝生活方式的互動展示和知識。建築的外部有很多供家庭坐着的地方，景觀設計仍在施工中，但看起來非常棒。如果你有家庭的話，我覺得這裏咖啡館的食物有點貴，但它們絕對是高質量的，有餡餅、香腸卷、沙拉和蛋糕。下次一定帶着孩子們和孫輩們去。這裡有很多桌椅，所以家人們可以去野餐。對家庭來說，企鵝遊行的價格是合理的，可能與大多數旅遊景點的價格一致。

我很喜歡在這裏看企鵝的體驗。我建議你早點到，這樣你就能找到一個好座位，可以清楚地看到企鵝。要小心，有些遊客不會聽規定，而且會非常蠻橫不講理。但這是一個不錯的體驗，能看到企鵝，並有助於保護企鵝。

Hi. We are a family group of 6 across 3 generations coming at Easter. I am completely confused about the differences between the tickets. My eldest child has autism and so no tolerance of people blocking his view or making too much noise around him if he's trying to concentrate on something so I am concerned about the large loud crowds and how that could detract from the experience. So I would like an option that means smaller groups. He also has adhd meaning he struggles to sit still so also would like an option that allows us to move around between different viewing areas and definitely wouldn't want to be indoors only. Can someone please add a bit more colour to the ticket option descriptions to help me choose? Thank you.

I suggest you make enquiries with the organizers before you land in Phillip Island and book tickets. The organizers are very helpful and always willing to assist anyone who needs help and advise.

Hi im planning to visit philip island with my 2yr old daugter but the thing is i dont drive, i try to ask and email the site but it said i need to set my own transport to go there ..can anyone tell me how and where to catch the transport going there and can i buy the ticket passes in there or do i need to book online.its my first time to t travel so i really need a little bit of an extra info. And help so it would be easier for me and not be lost.im from melbourne all i know is the flinders st area..Can anyone help me with my inquiry.thank you in advanceð

Hi we drove there as we are from Sydney but if you go onto website I am sure there were packages that included bus from Melbourne City out to site and were inclusive of fares and ticket prices. We booked tickets on line so we didn't have to line up.

Message primarily for staff at Phillip Island
Hi we visited Phillip Island in 2006 during an independent 6 month tour of Australia with an old Ford Falcon station wagon and a tent. We respected your request not to photograph the penguins for fear of disturbing them. However, we have a personal
website which includes hundreds of photos of our time in Australia and I would dearly love a photo of the 'fairy' penguins
coming ashore or any close up photos you could allow us to use with the appropriate credit of course and or a link to your official website.

It depends on which experience you want. When we went there was availability for the main viewing area but none for the exclusive experiences. We had booked prior to visiting.

Buongiorno a tutti, siamo interessati all'Ultimate Tour, e vorremmo sapere più in dettaglio come si svolge esattamente questo giro/percorso, siamo indecisi fra il biglietto Plus o Ultimate Tour, il ns. inglese non è ottimo

Buongiorno Cesare. L’evento è molto commerciale. È stata creata un enorme struttura (peraltro a settembre 2018 era in ampliamento) che parte dal entroterra zona antistante un enorme parcheggio e con un sistema molto organizzato di passerelle in legno sopraelevate dalla spiaggia si arriva ognuno al propio spalto ( una sorta di gradinata) su cui ti fanno sedere di fronte al mare. La posizione dipende dal biglietto che acquisti. La plus che abbiamo scelto noi era sul lato destro verso la fine della lunga spiaggia e devo dire che di pinguini c’è ne erano un sacco.
Appena si arriva conviene dirigersi sulla passerella in quanto i regners fanno sedere nei posti in ordine di arrivo.
I rangers sono molto severi nei controlli. Le spiegazioni sono tutte in inglese ma si riesce a seguire. Gli stessi pinguini si vedono gratuitamente a st kilda raggiungibile con il bus dal centro di Melbourne. Noi saremmo dovuti andare al Wilson promontory ma le previsioni del tempo erano pessime per cui ci siamo fermati a Philip Island!

Sort of yes! When we were there we went a walk at the Nobbies centre, this is a gorgeous long boardwalk with the most amazing views. Parking is free and afterwards you can go for a coffee in the centre (this bit is free, you only have to pay if you want to go into the antarctic museum). We always have our binoculars with us and along the walk you can see the penguin burrows/boxes in the hillside. They all look empty but actually the baby chics stay here all day, most of them hunker down but we saw quite a few in the burrows, you can see them with the naked eye but with the binoculars you get a great close up view.
