Nice view and a place to sit and rest in the shade.
Partially reconstructed old entrance tower and walls.
Careful if you have kids. Not accessible for strollers.

Good place for a stroll if not too crowdy

The southern fortress walls of Sozopol are a part of the Old Town and the area is very nice for a relaxing stroll along the bay if it is not very crowdy. Parts of the walls have been renovated and there are many good, and usually expensive, cafes and restaurants.

A must visit in Sozopol

The walls of the ancient town are a beauty that must be seen when visiting Sozopol! The view is breathtaking! In the night the walls are full of lively restaurants and tourists walking and having dinner! Great place for a walk in the evening!

Resti a cielo aperto dell'antica Apollonia

Sozopol è una delle città più antiche della costa del Mar Nero. Entrando nella parte vecchia della città, si nota, ben visibile il complesso architettonico delle mura e della torre. Interessante merita un attimo di meditazione.

夫妻情侶

Die Mauern sind im guten Zustand. Meistens reiht sich an diesen ein Lokal nach dem anderen. Schöner Blick über die Bucht zur Sosopoler Altstadt.
Abends ist es mit der Beleuchtung echt schön, aber auch ziemlich voll. Früh morgens oder nachmittags ist es angenehmer.
