no ..... based on the answer to the other question about Jacob Taylor Beach it's about a 20 minute cab ride
Is this walking distance from the cruise port?
We will be stopping at Falmouth next month on a cruise, and am wondering how far Jacob Taylor beach is from the port?, can we grab a taxi / estimated cost? and is the craft market right there or will I need another taxi? Any other sugestions are welcome!

yes the crafts are right there. also there is a food shack where they sell Uthentic rice and beans with chicken for $5. We actually had Courtney Taylor Tour take us since many people do not know about this area. It was about 20 minutes from the port. Try to get a group with you and Courtney can arrange for this to be a stop. Also, the beach, just slightly to the left is called Duncan's Bay. That is where we go. it is a 2 minute walk to the fish, and beach area where the food and the crafts are. You could ask him to add this to Ny other tour or stay at that beach if that is what you would enjoy. I think a cab is $20 each way. It feels too remote to trust that a cab driver will come back for you. Stick with a tour guide, give Courtney Taylor a chance... We have used him twice and it worked out well. Tell him Cori says hello.
