If there's only 1 thing you do when visiting Dorset, then make it this!
I came with my 4 year old and 8 year old and it was brilliant. the team were incredibly welcoming, they even provided a wipe and plasters for my daughter when she grazed both knees running down the hill to the reception desk (before we had even started our mud adventure!)
When the course begins you may well be wondering where all the mud is.... well it is definitely there, and in an abundance!
My 4 year old coped really well with the majority of the course, there is a section near the end though (with an army type assault course encased in a pit of quick sinking mud) which she sensibly went around whilst me and the 8 year old battled on. I am pretty sure there are many places that wouldn't have allowed such a small child in at all, but I'm so glad they do here as it means my older one doesn't have to miss out on all the fun, and the younger one was absolutely fine. I was just warned that the pools were deep in some places so to go in first. I was able to carry her through the water and deepest mud pits if needed.
My favourite quotes from my 4 year old - "but my hands are dirty" and "there's so much mud, I am covered in so much mud!" (my children were genuinely surprised at how they could be covered in so much mud!)

Oh my goodness where to start, the place, the staff were AMAZING, big shout out to Shane and Zena , thanks for your help :) this place cannot be faulted!! We had the BEST time on the mud run and was lucky enough to go back for the water park … the mud run - Lordy, NEVER seen so much mud in my life, my husband came out looking like a human sized turd!! In the nicest possible way lol!! Hilarious!! Oh my goodness our bellies hurt laughing all the way around it, the water park was just the BEST! Even got named the queen jumper lol , lifeguards had a laugh with us too, what an amazing place … after we finished the mud run we got back to the car to see a flat tire, the man in charge couldn’t be more helpful, we didn’t ask for help he just jumped up to our rescue, zoomed up on his quad and pumped us up in no time, thank you all, we will be back next year for more !!

Great time had by all. Age range 8 to 66. Firm safety measures in place, but it didn't affect the fun. Second time we've been. Nice little food shack selling good fast food, but limited menu. DON'T do the photos, unless you have the time to scroll through them on site. Cost me £55 and there's not one decent photo of our youngest.

Nine of us did the two brilliant lakes and had a great time. Staff were top class, venue superb and dividing the hour between two lakes and different courses / obstacles is great idea.
The three adults were shattered keeping up with our six children but we all loved every minute.

What an amazing find! Very well run, professional environment and equipment. Our life guards George and (can’t remember the brown haired chaps name- sorry!) were very friendly, with a focus on safety and fun. Very clear instructions. We will be back. Thank you

I took my 11 and 8 year old grandsons for our first visit to this great attraction. It is a lovely location and all very well organised with super friendly and helpful staff. When one of the lifeguards realised my elder grandson has special needs and was struggling to get himself back onto the floats they arranged for an extra lifeguard, the wonderful Louis to accompany him for the entire visit! He had a great experience and we can't thank Louis and the staff enough for being so understanding and patient.

This is fairly priced and extremely fun for the whole family. We did the mud run and I have never been this dirty ever. It was amazing and we didnt stop laughing the whole way through. Best experience ihave had in a while.

Brilliant day for all the family, staff and service throughout was wicked! Big thanks to Shane and Mikey, We will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone who has not yet been!

Had another fantastic time. Because of the recent high rainfall we have been having the mud on the course was awesome. On arrival the male staff member checked us in. Gave us lockers for exchange of car key. Completed the course in about 75 mins. No rushing.
All other participants at the same time were really friendly. The course has changed by addition of a few more obstacles.
Afterwards we washed off and removed a layer of clothing in the river then used the outside showers which were warm and I think 8 of them.
If I was to be critical the changing cabins were not the cleanest or driest being session 1 of the day and not as busy as when we were leaving. Nevertheless we both enjoyed and for £12.50 per person was great value. Definitely recommend young or old, fit or not so. Our 4th visit and will revisit again.

Fantastic waterpark. My children had a great time, everything was well run and the staff here are excellent. A special mention must go to Michael who went out of his way to help us when we needed it.

Having visited the last 2 years, I am keen on revisiting the mud trail again.
How is the mud with this continuing dry weather? The stream worked well in getting the worst of the mud off. Is there still water in the stream?

With the hit and miss weather this year how is the mud on the course this year? Are there any new obstacles on the course this year? Any advice is welcome. Thanks

Hi I dont know about new obstacles as we didn't do the mud adventure. It was nice weather when we went . The folks that was doing the muddy adventure where all smiling during and after .

For those that have visited this season already, what are the showers like now after the mud trail, supposedly hot water for 2019? What are the new obstacles like that have been added for 2019? Thanks

Yes they had a photography team working from May Half term till September who go around taking photos of the people on the water and some in the mud zone A.
Their in blue tops with photographer written in yellow, just give them a wave and they will snap away! All photos can be seen on there big screen tv on the hour. They do there best to get everyone but if you see them and want a photo taken before or after etc just ask them they are all friendly and happy to take your photo.
Their next to the office if you want to go see your photos any time you just need to remember what time roughly you had the photo taken or what water session you were on 👍🏼 photos aren’t expensive and they do package deals and they can get brilliant photos on their cameras!

Do you restrict the number of people on the inflatables so they are not over crowded

They limit the numbers on each lake but you are free to move between inflatables. There are supervisors who make sure everyone is safe and having a good time.

Hi hoping to come this summer! My son is 6 and not really any kind of swimmer can he take part if I am with him at all time?

I can’t see this being a problem. They are very careful on safety and there are plenty of lifeguards and, as someone else points out, you have to wear buoyancy aids.

do i have to book in advance?
Am camping near corfe castle in a few weeks and just wondered what was best?

Defiantly best to book to make sure of your place as it is a special occasion and at peak season. Hope you enjoy, our family had great fun there. Nice place for a picnic, too.
PS you can hire wet suits and shoes to wear in the water if you don't have them
