Hi, I will be staying in nearby Monroeville and would like advice on how to get to PNC Park and back using public transportation, the more direct the better (would prefer to avoid transfers). Alternately, approximately how much would Uber charge for this same trip on game day? Thanks in advance

Sorry but I haven't got a clue. I live in NJ, and the hotel we stayed in supplied a shuttle. Check with your hotel- they may do the same
Coming to town for a Friday night game, staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown. From what a gather it's a pretty easy "walk across the bridge", true? Also bar recommendations? The fiancé and I like relaxed, sports bars mostly-bonus points if we can play pool or darts. Sounds like there are plenty nearby. Is the casino within walking distance after the game/back to hotel? Okay to be walking back to the hotel late at night or better to catch a ride at that point? Any help is much appreciated!

I can ditto the above. It is an easy walk around and it is mostly daylight and people walking. I don't know about the sports bars. I think there may be one next to the Park ? If you are out late and you are concerned ask the locals about an Uber. There used to be Uber taxis that served just downtown. This is a great town. I hope you find a good spot.
Planning a weekend with the boys in Sept. All everyone talks about is the park, but where is the best area to stay for after the game?? We want to go to pubs and go out and enjoy the nightlife.
