It appears that Harmony Presents is in the process of finding a new home😯😞! What a sad evolution of events. We truly hope that Jill and the crew can find new space with the charm of the boiler room at the Silk Mill!
We hope its soon and fully scheduled with the same eclectic collection of artist which we have grown to expect.

We are local residents and have been here several times. Its always been a great time. Its just a small and intimate place that seeks to please their visitors. If you want to get out for a nice night on the town, this is the place to go. There is always something new or different to experience when you go and you will always have a great time.

We have seen several shows here and have not been disappointed in one. Jill has excellent taste in the acts she books. The artists are all professional and the variety is broadly eclectic. The setting is very comfortable with reasonably priced drinks and a very friendly atmosphere. In an intimate setting such as this we often get to meet the artists and discuss their work. I have brought friends and family from a high school daughter to a 90 year old aunt-- all have enjoyed the show. I just wish we could go more often!

My parents and I and a friend from Jersey City, NJ went to see Wade Preston at the early 6pm show on January 7th at Harmony Present the Hawley Silk Mill. Jill Carletti-Merrill, the manager, did an excellent job hosting and Wade Preston is an amazing talent. There were fun sing-a-long parts as well as serious keyboard performances of older pieces, classic Billy Joel songs like "Piano Man" and "Captain Jack", and country songs for Shot Gun Wedding, Wade Preston's country band. Even some boogie piano from the days when Wade Preston was playing on the West Coast. Wade Preston does an excellent job introducing each song and piece. The venue is amazing with historic charm as a former boiler room of the Hawley Silk Mill, and amazing views of the falls in the back from the balcony which are not to be missed.

We went to the Silk Mill for the first time and listened to the Gather Rounders. A group of blue grass singers. They were refreshing, real, and personable. The mill dates back to 1880. The entertainment is in the Boiler room. Awesome shops also.

This intimate setting is a great place to hear music! We've been several times and have not been disappointed. Last night was, in my opinion, exceptional - the Show Ponies put on a great show. The venue has a range of musicians performing. With a great email system, you can find out who will be playing on any given night and hear a song or two to decide if the music is to your liking. They sell wine and beer (make sure you have cash) and the room is usually set up with small tables. More than once performers have commented on how nice it is to have an audience that is actually listening to their music and to the sound quality in the room. This place is worth a drive to hear great music.

This is a hidden gem in the Poconos!! Jill, the Director has a special knack for bringing in exceptional performers. The musicians are talented, personable, professional & just all around nice people! The Boiler Room is the is perfect venue for these fantastic shows. You can purchase wine, beer & various other drinks, fresh baked cookies, chips to enjoy during the show. Whether you are single, a couple or a group of friends, it is a great comfortable place to visit. We have been to 30+ shows and have never been disappointed. Please keep these shows coming, we just LOVE coming to The Boiler Room!

Absolutely wonderful small music venue. Beautiful room, Good acoustics and great music. Located in the what they call the boiler room of the old Hawley Silk Mill with a balcony overlooking the waterfall. Has the feel of a nyc village coffee house. If you're in the area and they have a show on I highly recommend it.

We saw Session Americana on Friday night and it was wonderful!! Jill, the promoter is just so kind and the musicians were so incredibly talented!! It is so refreshing to be able to enjoy music that is not a "bar scene". Even the band spent time lingering around and chatting with us all during intermission! It was cool! It was as though we were sitting in on a private jam session!! We definitely will visit again! Don't hesitate to check this place out!! Very reasonably priced for a night of incredible sounds!!

Hi Debby, age restrictions depend on the show. Usually, audience members should be at least 14 years old, but we make exceptions for kids that really love music, depending on the kind of act we have that night. Feel free to email jill@silkmillharmony if you would like to discuss for specific situation. For comedy nights, audience members should be over 18.
