This is a problem. Wentworth Falls is so beautiful. Hiking is also a great adventure. Is it possible to have more time? I hope I was of help.

there are hikes of 15 min, 30 and 1 hours. So I won't do it with a toddler.

The Blue Mountains Explorer Bus does not go to Wentworth Falls. You need to catch the local #685 bus and get off at the stop on Fletcher St on the corner of Falls Rd, then walk the rest of the way down Falls Rd to the Wentworth Falls picnic grounds.

Public transport won’t get you to Jenolan Caves. It’s about an hour to an hour and a half drive, so not really close to the main part of the Blue Mountains. All bush walks are free, so no passes needed.

There are signs on highway directing to Wentworth Falls. It is a steep descent and about a mile

There are three routes to the falls. 1. From the railway station follow the Charles Darwin walk alongside the creek to Wentworth Falls itself. 2. From the car park Adjacent to the toilet block after entry into the park and follow the wide well prepared track to Wentworth Fall 3. My favourite starts in the same location as 2. above but diverts onto the Undercliff Track. This walk has been recently upgraded by Parks. Much of it is walking under the cliff edge almost like walking along behind a waterfall without the full flow of water but reminiscent of a hanging swamp on places. There are guided walks. Gwondana Photography (my business) runs a full lookout tour with photography tuition along the top of the cliffs including waterfalls. They start at Katoomba finishing at Wentworth Fall. Part by vehicle and part on foot. We venture into places tourists aren't often seen.

If you walk down the steps its about 1 hr return. If you then walk down the ladders its also another 1 hr return. Hence total down and up is 2 hours. If you walk from the Conservation Hut (café) to Wentworth falls and back allow a 3- 4 hr trip.
