I visited on Wednesday as part of a 4 day 1,000 mile solo motorcycle trip from Newcastle upon Tyne. The rain was biblical and I nearly skipped the visitors head back north. So glad I didn’t and got soaked, so what. What a place and so much to see it’s overwhelming. Really well organised over 500 bikes all pretty much restored to as new condition plus lots of others bits and pieces to look at. Made my day meeting the man himself, still there in the workshop (paradise as he called it). Sammy 90 or not you are an absolute credit to motorcycling and your collection is second to none.

We were welcomed by a lovely lady and Fergus. And we really enjoyed the visit.
Gobsmacked at how polished everything is and there is alot to look at in regards to motorbikes.
The animals on the way in are very cute.

Been aware of this museum for some time but distance put me off as I reside in Scotland and this was visited later in the day at approximately 3 pm.
Very well presented building crammed with bikes I have known about for years. There were many bikes there I have never seen before and some I have never even heard of and found it fascinating that so much care, patience and detail has been carried out to repair, refurbish and re manufacture parts to as new condition.
However, it wasn’t long before I noticed the two Broughs together. Worth the journey down to view them!
Managed to walk around twice also to view accessories - lamps generators, silver cups and workshop via viewing window.
No time to visit cafe or shop.
Bit disappointing to find no concessions were available for ‘senior citizens’ or for VMCC members though!
However, an enjoyable experience. Will need to revisit Dorset area next year and call in at Clouds Hill cottage!

Brilliant place to visit ,we went on a wet July day ,lovely welcome from gentleman on reception ,there were so many bikes we didn't know where to start.we took lots of photos it was good to see many built in our home city of Coventry ,took us over an hour walk round ,we then went in the cafe afterwards where we had drinks and freshly made cakes

What a fabulous museum, we were totally in awe of the condition of the exhibits, restored to presteen conditions. A total must for any two wheeled fans.We also loved all the memorabilia the radios ,tv ,and an amazing collection of oil cans.

Initially my son and daughter didn’t want to visit, but once we got there they both had a great time looking at the bikes and completing the quiz.
Sammy was really helpful and knowledgeable about any questions we had about the bikes.
We had left it a bit late to finish the questionnaire but Sammy walked around the last section with us and pointed my son to the right bikes.
We can really recommend this place, the bikes are in fantastic condition and you’ll be sure to see a few bikes you’ve never heard of before and the owner and staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely place, so many fabulous motorcycles and with great stories behind them. Staff were very nice. Great to read up on all the history. Have a cafe and gift shop. Nice bonus with the animals. Would recommend!

Been meaning to visit this museum for a while now, finally got there and what a great place. I’m not that knowledgeable about motorcycles and especially not the older ones. There is a vast number of old motorcycles and a huge quantity of history in this museum. So many rare bikes the likes of which you may never see anywhere else. It’s really unimaginable the effort it takes to put a collection like this together. Sammy miller clearly had a wonderful career racing bikes and putting this museum together. I’m very grateful that people like this exist. This level of enthusiasm is absolutely admirable. Thank you. I’d like to re visit on one of the event days.

Dogs are not allowed inside the Museum unless they are working dogs. However dogs are allowed on the Museum Complex but must be kept on leads at all times as our chickens and guinea fowl run freely. There are plenty of areas to exercise a dog and benches in the Courtyard and outside the Tea Rooms where you may sit with your pet.
