Absolutely fantastic start to our Kite Surfing experience! Steve was so professional, knowledgeable & explained everything so well. We can't wait for our next session.

Steve is a fantastic coach, that has a great style of teaching. He’s been training me for over a year, and though I’ve made the first steps riding solo, I still go back to him, so that he can teach me more. His style of coaching is calm and clear, and immediately you know you’re in excellent hands. When I ride solo now, things are identified that I really want to improve on - so I go back to Steve, to improve that specific skill, whilst building confidence, so that when I ride solo next time, I’ve improved, making me a safer kiteboarder for myself, and others around me. I went to Steve for just that recently - to improve on a specific skill - he instructed me to the highest level, helping me improve and become more confident, and safer in the water and land. I recommend Steve ten times over, whether you’re a beginner learning the ropes, or a rider who’s just starting out going solo.

Steve has a great manner when teaching, he makes you feel at ease, which in turn builds your confidence. I would highly recommend Southend Kitesurfing.

I never thought it possible but Steve got me up and kite surfing. After three days intensive training at another school I came to Steve as a last attempt and within a one 2 hour lesson I’d learnt more valuable lessons then in the three day course.
He is a brilliant teacher with bags of experience and that comes through with his effortless teachings. I felt very confident with Steve by my side and was able to achieve water starts after a few 2 hour lessons. I’m now starting and going along back and forth which is an amazing feeling.
It’s been great getting into kite surfing and I would definitely recommend Steve.
On another note I found Southend much easier to water start as the water itself is much calmer than other coastal places. For a complete beginner this really helps you focus on your board and kite rather than the added wave swell chop.

Fantastic location where to learn and practice kitesurfing. Steve has bags of experience and a style of teaching that will make your learning process fast and efficient. If you want to learn kiteboarding and desire a good safe location, do yourself a favour and book a lesson with Steve at Southend Kitesurfing. You will not regret it.

The tuition provided by Steve was excellent and made the experience very enjoyable. He was very patient and is obviously a very knowledgeable kitesurfer.
I would definitely recommend Southend Kitesurfing.

I have visited Southend Kitesurfing early April 2019. Steve is very experienced, very patient and with equipment to cater any experience level and sizes. The spot for learning is also very good. Can't wait to book another session. Thoroughly recommended if you're looking for Kitesurfing lessons in Essex.

The kitesurfing lessons were excellent and Steve is a bright and positive person who I was glad to meet. He has a lot of kitesurfing experience and provided good training on land and in the sea.I want to learn more and more to get better at kite surfing. Recommend the place to everyone and getting a lot of fun is for sure. Happy that the dreams came through......I just have no more words to describe how excited I was and still am,many Thanks....

Steve is an excellent instructor with a great personality. The instructions are very clear and delivered in a way that makes you want to learn more. Southend seems to be a really good place to learn too with flat shallow sea. Looking forward to my next lesson!
